I wanted to make a pendant with a rotating ball of petrified wood (chalcedony). Oxidised copper, enamelled with a clear flux made an interesting colour match. I may have been sub-consciously influenced by my training as a pilot, because when it was finished I realised that the pendant has a marked similarity to an aircraft turn-and-bank indicator. It is not recommended to wear it when running for a bus!
