These Jurassic fossils, were named by the Roman natural historian Plinius the Elder because he thought they resembled rams horns - used as a headdress by the Egyptian god Ammon.

These ones were lifted from the bed of an ancient ocean into the Atlas mountains of Morocco and are about 120 million years old.
